OBD II Fault Code
- OBD II P011D
OBD-II Code Increased fuel consumption is defined as a Charge Air Temperature/Intake Air Temperature Correlation
The Charge Air Temperature Sensor measures the temperature of the air going through the charge air cooler. The Intake Air Temperature Sensor measures the temperature of the air going into the engine. The engine control module (PCM) will compare the two readings to determine if sensors are reading correctly. When the PCM determines that one of the sensors has an irrational reading, it will set code P011D.
