P006D - OBD II Trouble Code

OBD-II Code Decreased engine performance is defined as a Barometric Pressure - Turbocharger/Supercharger Inlet Pressure

The Barometric Pressure Sensor tells the PCM the amount of boost pressure created by the turbocharger. The Turbocharger Inlet Pressure Sensor tells the PCM how much pressure is going into the Turbo. The control module compares the two sensors to determine if one of the sensors has lost its calibration. If the PCM determines there is a calibration issue with one or both of the sensors, the PCM will set code P006D.
