OBD II Fault Code
- OBD II P006A
OBD-II Code Decreased engine performance is defined as a MAP - Mass or Volume Air Flow Correlation
The Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor tells the engine control module (PCM) how much pressure is in the engine manifold. The Mass Airflow Sensor tells the PCM the amount of air flowing through the engine. The control module compares the two sensors to determine if one of the sensors has lost its calibration. If the PCM determines there is a calibration issue with one or both of the sensors, the PCM will set code P006A.
