The wiper blade is a rubber blade attached to the end of the wiper arm.
Why Should It Be Serviced?
A worn out or damaged wiper blade may affect your ability to see when it's raining or snowing outside, so it's important to have it serviced. If you don't, you may experience one or more of these symptoms:
- Restricted visibility
- Permanent damage to the windshield
When Should It Be Serviced?
- When the blades no longer adequately remove rain or snow from the windshield
- When the blades "chatter" when moving back and forth across the windshield
How It's Done
The technician removes the old wiper blades from the wiper arm and replaces them with new wiper blades. In some cases, the rubber wiper blade refills are available and can be replaced without changing the entire wiper blade.
