we are experiencing problems with our 2006 CLS500 shifting from automatic to stick shift. This mostly happens when doing city driving, i.e. stop signs, red lights and stopped in traffic. It is very scary because I have to completely shut the car off and restart it to get it to go back into automatic. This is a very dangerous and scary situation, because you are practically stalled in traffric. The engine reeves up and RPM's are going crazy, very scary. This car has less than 50,000 miles and I don't think this kind of problem should be happening now.
