Front Shock Absorber
Shock absorbers dampen the shock the suspension receives when the vehicle is driven over rough or uneven road surfaces.
Symptoms of Wear or Failure
- Vehicle may feel unsettled over bumps
- Vehicle may continue to bounce more than normal after a bump
- Knocking noises
- Oil leaking from shock
- Worn or damaged shock bushings
- Uneven tire wear

- Shock absorbers should be replaced in pairs, front and/or rear
- Some shock absorbers also contain an air bladder, which can be used to adjust ride height either manually or automatically
