Noise or Vibration When AC Compressor is On
A defective AC compressor clutch assembly can cause excessive noise or vibration when the air conditioning is on. Improved parts are available. Replacing the faulty clutch assembly does not necessitate replacement of the complete AC compressor or evacuation and recharging of the air conditioning system.
Software Update Available Which May Correct Transmission Issues
Reprogramming the transmission control module with the latest Kia transmission software may fix abnormalities in the automatic transmission and erroneous transmission-related Check Engine Light illumination. Software updates are commonly most effective on newer vehicles. Higher mileage vehicles may exhibit a similar symptom caused by a component failure. However, whenever major transmission repairs are performed the transmission software should be checked and updated as necessary.
Transmission Damage Due to Low and/or Incorrect Fluid

Engine Misfire Due to Faulty Ignition Coil
An engine misfire may develop due to a failed ignition coil. Our technicians tell us one coil is used for each cylinder. If one fails, often times another is not far behind. It may be worth considering replacing all the coils if a failure is encountered.

Software Update to Correct False Code For Cooling System Fault
The Check Engine Light may illuminate with the code stored signifying the engine is not reaching normal operating temperature. If no fault is found with the components of the cooling system, a simple reprogramming of the powertrain computer will commonly correct this problem.
Battery Weak Due to Inadiquate Alternator Output
After the vehicle has been operated with electrical loads (lights, air conditioning), a weak alternator can cause starting difficulties. In some cases, the original alternator could not sufficiently charge the battery; Kia released a new alternator which can correct this concern.
