The horn may not work at times

The horn may not function at times due to a faulty ground circuit in the steering column. Our technicians tell us that adding a ground strap between the upper and lower steering column mounting points will commonly correct this issue.

Squeak type noise noted upon break apply

If this occurs our technicians recommended 3 places to inspect for wiring issues: Under the sill place at the drivers side rear door opening, along the steering column, and near the brake pedal bracket. Damaged wires will require repair and should be repositioned and protected from further damage.
