I can't believe that the 07 Suburban oil consumption problem hasn't been mentioned on this site, it is everywhere else. Many 07 Suburbans burn a lot of oil - GM will try to tell you that a quart every 1500 - 2000 is normal - which is just ridiculous. Replacement of Upper Control Arm and Lower Ball Joints
Had to replace due to excess wear. Suburban not driven hard - these failed prematurely. In addition, repair by replacing just ball joints made 3 times more expensive due to GM design. The upper control arms had to be replaced making the parts very expensive and the labor 3 times more than normal.
