The illumination of the entertainment/navigation screen and switches may fail. This is generally caused by a failed circuit board. Acura has extended the warranty on the audio display unit to 7 years or 105,000 miles for the 2004 model year only.

Some vehicles may develop a soft, low brake pedal. Our technicians tell us this condition may be caused by a faulty vehicle stability assist (VSA) modular control unit. If this is the case replacement of the VSA modular control unit would be required.

The Check Engine Light may illuminate with a stored code P2422. Our technicians tell us this can be caused by spider webs in the EVAP system charcoal canister vent hose. Acura has made available a spring to install inside the vet hose to correct this issue.
