In a crash that deploys vehicle air bags to protect occupants, the passenger seat air bag may not deploy, increasing risk of injury. Dealers will replace the passenger seat air bag free of charge to resolve the problem.
There is a faulty software calibration that affects several areas including shutting off the fuel supply in a collision. This could cause a fire hazard during an accident. Dealers will reprogram this software. The Mercedes-Benz recall number is 2008 070001. This recall began during August, 2008.
Transistors used in the front signal acquisition and actuation module (SAM-F) may have been damaged during module assembly. As a result, the module could fail without warning, increasing the risk of a crash. Dealers will inspect and replace the affected modules as necessary. This recall is scheduled to begin on May 2, 2008. The Mercedes-Benz recall number is 2008 030005.

when car is sound it gets five stars,however that is wish-full thinking. frustrated because it seams only the dealerships can fix this car and it costs huge amounts to fix just about any problem,haven't been able to find one person or shop that can work on this car,sure would like to? anyone in the Suffolk county NY area that knows how to fix this car,please contact Jim at firstname.lastname@example.org
Excellent speed and drive, this car has been 15% of it's life in the dealer with problems. Motor, tranny, suspension, ect, But due to it's speed and looks I will no change this car. I got the extended 7/100K MB CPO Warranty and intent to use all. I will get rid of this car after the warranty and POOR SUCKER who buys this car with out warranty.
