2001 Lincoln Town Carfrontenac123, Frontenac, KS, November 27, 2010 09:51This is the one of two best vehicles that I own. Only repair problems at 40,000 miles are the Front Suspension Parts as follows: Front Shock, Idler Arm, Pitman Arm, Front Sway Bar Links with 4 Wheel Alignment. Also replaced during regular maintenance: Air Filter, Fuel Filter, Oil & Oil Filter, Brake Pads and PCV Valves. New Problem: Rear Axle Shaft Bearing Fracture notice at 43,000 miles; will cause accident at highway speed. Replace parts needed Rear Axle Shaft Bearing Repair Kit made by Timken and a new Rear Axle Shaft. Labor hours 1.5, total service cost estimate: $360.EnthusiastFlag ThisLike | 6 people like this6
