The thermostat housing can leak causing a low coolant condition and you may also notice a sweet burning smell.

Broken doors inside the intake manifold, that vary the length of the manifold, can cause an abnormal engine noise.

If you experience hard shifting or a delay in shifting, this may be caused by outdated transmission control module software. Updated software is available that may correct shifting issues.

A rattling noise from the right side of the vehicle can be caused by worn timing belt rollers. These tend to fail and should be maintained to avoid serious engine damage.

The engine air filter should be inspected more often on vehicles that are driven frequently off-road or in dusty conditions. A contaminated mass air flow sensor can cause Check Engine Light illumination.

The automatic transmission may develop a problem with gear slippage because of worn clutch packs inside the transmission. Overhaul or replacement of the transmission will be necessary to correct this issue.

A no start (no crank) condition can be caused by a weak battery. A defective ignition switch may also cause the same condition. Proper diagnoses of the problem will be necessary to perform the correct repair.

A hydraulic valve lifter "tick" type noise may be noted at high engine speed. This commonly caused by lack of oil to the lifters. Our technicians recommend following the recommended oil service intervals to help prevent this problem.

Worn control cables for the heater vents can cause inaccurate vent operation.
If the window motor for the rear cargo door fails, the rear door may not unlatch.
