Excess Oil Consumption Issue
Excessive oil consumption—defined as more than one quart per 1,000 miles (on vehicles with less than 50,000 miles) or more than one quart per 750 miles (on vehicles with more than 50,000 miles)—is common. Common causes include exhaust valve guides, valve cover gaskets, camshaft plugs, camshaft seals, and crankshaft seal.
Odor from HVAC vents

The Power Window Motor and/or Regulator May Fail

V6 engines may experience surging while driving. The condition is more noticeable between 40 and 50 MPH while accelerating up a hill/slight incline. Replacing the powertrain control module (PCM) and updating the transmission control module (TCM) software may be required.
Belt Noise Due to Pulley Misalignment or Belt Tensioner
Misalignment of the accessory pulleys or a faulty drive belt tensioner may cause a chirping or squeaking sound while the engine is running. In If the replacing the belt tensioner does not correct the noise, the alternator pulley may require replacement.
Power Lifgate Module Software to Correct Erratic Remote Button Operation
If you have to press the remote button numerous times to open the power liftgate, it may be necessary to update the software in the power liftgate module to correct this issue.
Squeak or Tick Noise While Driving
A "tapping plate cage" on the driver side frame rail may cause a squeak or tick noise while driving, this is often misdiagnosed as a suspension problem. The tapping plate is a threaded plate which accepts one of the front sub-frame mounting bolts. The "cage" of the threaded plate may be touching the frame rail causing noise as the vehicle is driven. "Adjusting" the rear tab on the tapping plate cage so it no longer is touching the frame should eliminate this noise.
