2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Problems

Poor Shift Quality Between First and Second Gear May be Caused by Pressure Control Solenoid

Replacing a pressure solenoid valve in the transmission valve body may fix an issue where the transmission "hunts" between first and second gears. Our technicians report that customers sometimes describe this complaint as surging or bucking.

Water Leak Due to Faulty Rear Window Seal

On some models a void in the rear window seal may cause a water leak. Water may be present on or under the carpet. The seal will need to be replaced if that is the source.

Wipers and Turn Signals

When switching on a turn signal, both lights flash or nothing happens. Wipers fail or work sporadically. There are on back order 4,000 of the parts required to fix this problem. I wish more people would report these problems to www.nhtsa.gov so that recalls can take place.

2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Reviews

I have had to dodge trucks. One was a 2004 1500 and the one I have now is a 2500 mega cab. The 1500 was a 8 cyl. and the 2500 a hemi. This is the second Ram that I have owned. I will not own anything but a Dodge for the rest of my life. This Truck is the best. 5.7L HEMI. Need I say more. If Raw Power is what you want, this is the truck you need.
I am a 4th time Dodge Ram truck owner and this is my second 2500 4x4 in a row. This one was purchased new in late January of 2007 as a 06 model leftover.
