WONT START AFTER IT DIED

(2006 Chevrolet Uplander)
in Honey Grove, TX on March 03, 2011
I WAS DRIVING TO WORK WHEN WITHOUT ANY WARNING IT DIED AND WOULD NOT START. THE FUEL GAUGE WAS LOW AND SAID I HAD 61 MILES LEFT. THOUGHT I RAN OUT OF GAS. I PUT 2 1/2 GALLONS IN AND STILL WONT START. IT TURNS OVER GOOD AND TREID A COUPLE OF TIMES TO START BUT TO NO AVAIL.

sounds like a fuel pump failure. you need a shop to check the pressure to verify.

mine does the same thing. if the van is facing down a hill it needs more gas cause the pump is in the rear of the tank
