Wiring harness

(1994 Honda Accord)
in Phoenix, AZ on March 31, 2009
I have a 1994 accord. I am re-doing the wire harness. I have a 1995 accord harness. I have completely installed the new harness under the dash and in the dash. Everything lined up except I have 2 plugs and I don't know where or what to attach them to. I know that the 94 uses a jumper wire and the 95 uses the ODB system. And I am scared to try and start it because I don't want the airbags to go off. So can anyone help me please? Thank you, Nikki

You need to get hold of a wiring diagram for both models of cars to see what wires may still need to be modified. I would have held out and replaced the harness with one from the same model, year and level of trim. There will be a 16 pin socket for the OBD2 . A company called Alldata (for I think under $30) gives you access to the same information many repair shops use. They give you access to one make and year of car for a year but there is so much information I think you would get value for money.
Any modification you do splice in wires solder and use heat shrink tube or proper insulation.
