Car did start the other evening and idled well. Tried an ignition module because it seemed to not turn on the fuel pump. Returned the module
and put in a new fuel pump. The pump operates with the original module, but the car will not start. It spins over well. Put carb cleaner in the
throttle body and engine coughs once, but no start. I am going to check plugs for spark tonight. Also have "you tubing" and need to check
the coil. They showed how to check for pulse at the injector and for power into the coil.
Some threads mentioned a safety sensor that shuts off the fuel pump if the car rolls over. But I can hear the new fuel pump spinning.
Do you have ideas? Thanks for helping.

have you ever had problems with it not starting when it is HOT?weather or inside the car.MAIN RELAY UNDER DASH DRIVERS SIDE??bad to go out on the hondas,90's up.mine went out on my 93 accord.when you turn switch to on,not start, the check engine light comes on and then goes off.when the check engine light goes out and you don't here a CLICK,it ain't starting!bad solder joint inside the relay.it will start sometimes if cool, but if it's hot, won't start.

yes, maybe. i responded to your post with a possible solution. these main/fuel pump relays are very common to fail when it's HOT.meaning outside temp and inside the car temp.from the early 90's up into the 2000's and later.a good way to check it is turn the key to ON,NOT START.the check engine light comes on.when it goes off,you should hear a CLICK,if no click when the check engine light goes off,it ain't starting! it will crank, but will not start.the relay can either be fixed with a soldering iron and a little solder or a new one at local parts house is about $50.00.copy and paste this link, watch video..............................................................................................................................................................
