Did you maintain a trickle charge on your battery during the time the car sat? If not, the engine's processor has lost all the strategy for running the vehicle, and it could take some time for it to relearn it all. Besides that, you could have input sensors and other components that are weaker than they once were, providing flawed information to your computer...hence it will not reset to where it should be.

Reluctantly, you may have to seek a local shop to have them assist you if the problem does not clear up. And if you haven't invested in a trickle charger to keep your battery voltage steady, you may want to acquire one. Lastly, the best thing also would be to have the vehicle started and run from time to time, perhaps every two weeks. It is a good idea to keep everything lubricated - including seals that remain supple when they remain wet.

Good luck!
