Will backing I hear a clicking sound from the left front wheel area.

This only happens when I turn right only while backing.

Let a mechanic test drive it, possible axle cv joint. Popping while turning, that is the first thing to have checked out. Should do it going foward as well with the wheels turned 'hard' right and moving along. More pronounced with light throttle.
