Why would my oil light flicker while driving at 70mph.

(2003 Ford Windstar)
Flashed like 5 or 6 times while driving 70mph. Pulled over and checked oil levels were fine. Van started and drove home fine after I pulled over to check oil. Oil light hasn't flickered again. Had my oil changed at jiffy lube day before and no problems were indicated.
What seems to make the problem better or worse? Only happened once
How long have you had this problem? Just one day

Hello, the oil light typically does not come on due to low oil level -- rather it comes on for an oil pressure concern. Have the engine oil pressure checked as soon as possible to prevent oil starvation in the engine from causing irreparable damage. It could be an actual problem or it could be a sensor or wiring problem also. Only by testing can you know for sure.
