Hello, did you replace the key with the cylinder? The key will have to be programmed for the factory "PATS" Passive Anti Theft System. Any and all known good keys must be programmed at the same time at a Ford dealership; perhaps a locksmith with a diagnostic tool can help too. Good luck.
