Why will the car not drive after replacing the output sensor?

(2004 Honda Accord)
As I was driving my 2004 Honda Accord 3.0 ex AT I received a code P0721. So I replaced the output speed sensor. Now when I start driving everything is fine until I stop at a red light and when I push the accelerator the motor just reeves up but won’t move. I have to put it in park turn car off than back on and than put it in drive and it will go and same thing happens when I come to a stop. I noticed when I plugged the new sensor in. It didn’t want to plug in completely. I tried to squeeze it with pliers but it wouldn’t go in any more. Only thing I can think of is that it’s not plugged in all the way so that’s why it works normal when I restart the car.
How long have you had this problem? 2 days

We could go back and forth all day long here and not achieve a single thing!

This requires *hands-on* testing by qualified personnel - primarily transmission fluid pressure testing.

Good luck!
