Why is transmission oil blowing out the transmission breather hose at hwy speeds

It does this at highway speeds

Fuid level is checked with engine 'off' on Hondas'
might be too full. Look at owners manual for checking fluid. Think checking with van off

The 2001 & 2002 Odyssey transmissions are poorly designed and overheat, causing the fluid to boil out. Honda had a recall on the 2001, but have covered up the 2002 problem. I solved my problem by getting a rebuilt from a 3rd party where they improved on the Honda design and added an external oil cooler. Don't replace it with OEM, as it is defective engineering.
