Why is the front seal on the 700r4 still leaking after it has been changed?

(1990 Chevrolet 1500 Pickup)
we have changed it 2 times and still leaks rite after we start it

You need to carefully inspect your work and see for yourself what's going wrong. It's not typical to need to replace a seal more than once. Maybe the seal is damaged, maybe pushed in too far, maybe the torque converter seal surface is faulty. It's also possible to cut the seal when laying in the torque converter, maybe that's what's happening. Look at what was wrong with the seals you've removed to see what kind of fault they have. Any chance it's not the seal but something else leaking and dripping onto the seal area? Just askin'
