Why is my scion xa burning through gas so quickly? on 2006 Scion xA

I drove 275 miles on a full tank on my last tank. This time I filled up and reset my mile gauge to track it again because I thought I was crazy. The car usually gets 350 miles+ a tank. I have burned through a third of my tank approximately 4 lines on the gauge and have only driven about 75 miles. I filled up the air in my tires, which are low profile but not affecting gas mileage in the past, and it is still horrible. I recently put a new air filter in, before the decrease in gas mileage, and am planning to change my oil tomorrow. I don't drive hard and do not see leaks nor smell gas. Is there a reason why I am losing gas mileage so quickly? Look forward to any replies that could help me salvage my gas money. Thank you!

They said that there were no codes in the system because the check engine light was not on.
