Why is my engine dieing out at high r.p.m.

(2004 Suzuki Forenza)
while traveling on the expressway at 75 mph, my engine starts missing and loseing power than starts runng fine for awhile?
What seems to make the problem better or worse? its worse at high rpm
How long have you had this problem? a few weeks

Could be ignition related, could be low fuel pressure due to a bad pump or clogged filter. Many variables but I'd start by scanning for codes.
