Q: why is my engine backfiring through my intake and lossing power when acelerating on 1994 Ford F-150

it only happens when im acelerating or going uphill..it also seems to acelerate on its own time to time..i have to put the transmission in nutrual and reve the engine to go again

In the back of engine vacuum lines fries cause of cross over emission tube leaks ,look in back of engine ,you should see if plastic vac lines
