Why is my car skipping

I HAD NEW PLUGS NEW WIRES AND HEATER COLE THE CAR WARMS UP AND IT STARTS SKIPPING BAD AND THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON I HAD IT CHECKED THEY SAID THE 3RD PLUG WAS FOULD I BOUGHT ANOTHER THE GARAGE SAID IT WASNT NOW IT GETS SPEED THEN JUST LOOSES PLEASE TELL ME IF THE COLE PACK NEEDS REPLACED

have it scoped to test plg wires.find a shop that will fix the car,sounds like a plug wire is breaking down
Was your code something like a po303, showing that it was a misfire in Cylinder number 3 ? If so and you changed the plugs already, you can check the coil real quick. Switch it with the coil from another cylinder then scan for codes again. If the code changes to a misfire in the cylinder you put the coil from number three in, the coil is bad replace it. If the code dosen't change you may have a bad injector.
