Why does my truck cut off after I crank it

Why does my truck cut off after I crank it,it usually takes about 10-15 tries before it finally keep running and not cut off . After it finally catches it's okay but what causes the delay in getting started in the mornings.

could be fuel pressure. it is a low pressure system and if your fuel pump is weak, it will take time to bring the system up to pressure.
have a shop check the fuel pressure first time in the morning to verify.
