Why does my speedometer start at 15mph and tachometer at 1500rpms.

(1999 Plymouth Voyager)
Just resoldered cracked solder joints on instrument panel circuit board which fixed my "no gauges" problem. Now the speedo and tach are inaccurate.I did an onboard diagnostic test and all gauges went through their tests and passed no error codes. What is causing this, and how do I reset the speedo and tach to zero?

May be problem with your speed sensor on transmission. Problem maybe at source.

I didn't have any problems with the speedo prior to the cluster problem.(Did the bang on the dash trick and the gauges came back for awhile ,but then after awhile that didn't work and all were dead and the abs light continued to stay on.) I should add that the first time I reassembled the cluster and tested it the speedo was at 20mphand tach at 2000rpms. I unplugged it checked the solder joints again and reassembled and tested it again and that is when the numbers went down.Couldit still be the speed sensor and would that also effect the tach as well as the speedo? Thank you for your response.

Well does sound like in your cluster if you banged on it and then worked for a bit. Not sure if multiple problems. Speed sensor is for speedometer and some shift points. It really shouldn't have anything to do with tac though.. Maybe if all else fails try if inexpensive part.
