Why am I not getting water to my heater core?
(1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera)

Hot water doesn't travel from pump through tube to core. vacuum issue? Faulty pump? Obviously water is cycling through the motor but not to the heater core. Its been replaced with new core and still doesn't receive water from pump.
How long have you had this problem? 3 months

After engine has reached *normal operating temperature* - grasp BOTH heater hoses - you shouldn’t be able to hold on to them for more than a few seconds .. This will determine IF coolant is flowing through the core - IF both hoses are HOT - problem is elsewhere - HVAC temperature control baffling or the control itself.
