Which way do the upper control arms face? 1993 s10 2wd 4.3

Which way do the upper control arms go? I have got the mixed up during take down and I cant remember if the flat side goes to the front or the rear.

Upper and Lower BALL JOINTS must be aligned ‘vertically’ with each other - if the control arms are reversed this will not be the case..

It would be unnatural to attempt the installation incorrectly as the control arms will automatically want to fit in the correct position - the way they were removed.
