Where is the vehicle speed sensor located on the car

(1995 Honda Accord)
in Farmersville, TX on June 30, 2012
VSS stopped working somewhere around 250,000. works periodically but only for a short time then stops. hAVE no idea how fast I am going and cannot locate the sensor to replace it

Look around the back of the trans bell housing from the top , down below the thermostat housing.look for an electrical connector where the speedometer cable would normally be.
