Where is the shift/transmission solonoid located and how many are there?

The OD ON/OFF light blinks. Transmission won't shift from first to second gear.

The solenoids are located inside the transmission pan. There could be a number of different solenoids on your transmission. This video will give you a very good idea of what it looks like.
