where is the location of the camshaft sensor on 1997 Ford Taurus

check engine light came on trying to replace the camshaft sensor the code says it needs to be replaced

let me guess,p0340. it is located just under and to the left of the throttle body,but you will have to replace the synchronizer as well because it is the root cause of the sensor failing due to the bushings failing and causing the top of the synchro to walk and hit the sensor.
