At first my lighter stopped working.then my dashboard lights would go on and off.then come to my surprise at the same time my dashboard lights are out I don't have any tail lights.they come on for a second.then back off.
What seems to make the problem better or worse? Stopping on the brake pedal

Location of fuse boxes and fuse identification can be found in the owners manual..

Fuse failures are not intermittent - a fuse is either good or bad - will not come and go.

Focus your attention on your headlight switch and wiring connector first.

Regarding your lighter: That is likely fuse #16. However, as Pushrod said, reference an owners manual.

The lighter will not be affiliated with your other concerns.
