On the back of the engine block.
If your freeze plug/plugs on the back of the engine are leaking you can be sure the rest of the freeze plugs in the engine are not far behind.
Where I live I recommend a cooling system service once a year to my customers. If you service the cooling system when you are supposed to you wouldn't have freeze plugs rusting out.
