Where is the crankshaft sensor located?

(2004 Chrysler Town & Country)

I've been told a few different locations but I can't find it from looking on top of the engine or underneath.

At the rear , drivers side, of the engine on the top of the transmission (bell) housing. Try google image to see if a picture is availabe. Maybe youtube also.

I can't see it from the top of the engine but I'm pretty sure I can feel it but it's a tight squeeze to reach. How do I replace the crankshaft sensor? Do I have to remove something first? It looks the part of the exhaust is in the way.
