Q: Where is the camshaft located on a 2005 F250 6.0 super duty diesel? on 2005 Ford F-250 Super Duty

Not the sensor, the camshaft its self. Thanks for your help.

Mastertech6371, you almost had me second guessing myself. I looked again on Mitchel, and the camshaft is definitely in the engine block.

I bet it's a lack of power. The one or more of the camshaft lobes have probably flattened, though it is not usually a common Ford problem.
I don't know why you need to know, but it is located just above the crankshaft, in the center of the block. Takes about 40 hours, the engine has to come out of the truck.
