Where are all of the fuse boxes located ?

(1996 Chevrolet 2500 Pickup)

New battery and alternator but battery won't charge. I was told to check the alternator fuse.

Should be one under hood and another under drivers side dash. See owners manual for more specific locations. Possible wiring issue! Dont think it's a fuse but check ALL of them! Where did you get the alternator?

I saw both fuse boxes .. but is there really a fuse or relay for the alternator ? Didn't see one labeled for one. I un and re-connected both ends of ground wire ....changed terminals ....shook and wiggled wires a bit ....I think I did all I can do myself !!! Still not charging !!! I got the alternator from advance auto parts !!!! I need to get this resolved ASAP... Any more ideas ?
