When should timing belt be replaced, and what about water pump?

no problem at this time. Car has 55,000 plus miles

Honda recommends replacement of the timing belt every 105,000 miles or 7 years. You're obviously over the time limit so it's a good idea to have it replaced sooner rather than later because if the belt were to break, you'd be looking at a very expensive repair.
