Q: when I turn it on it starts to stall and then it turns off? on 1996 Kia Sephia

I got it used, I changed the sparkplugs, I put in new rotor, distributor cap and wires. I took the old wones out but I forgot to write down where each one was supposed to go on the distributor cap. I that why it's not running well?? I pushed the rotor as much as I can and its making contact. before while I rode it it would start to turn off until i would put it in neutral at the light or as long as I was giving it gas....I really need your help.

I can tell you that the firing order is 1-3-4-2, that it's possible on some of the cars to put the rotor on 180 degrees off, and that these cars had lots of problems, including engine ground and fuel pump wiring problems. You need an experienced Kia specialist to help you if you can't figure it out.

Thank you so much, I realy appreciate it. When I start connecting the wires or plugs, do I start from the longest or from the shortest..???? and which side would be 1 ???? if i'm looking at it is it the L side or the R side????
