When i change the air filter the car will start useing a lot of gas you can see

the gas hand going down it did it one time before but the guy that fixed it is no longer around and no one knows. can you help?

no lights just drinks the gas 1/4 tank in 6 miles

No way!! That's 24 miles per tank, cant be running that bad without the light being on! Take your car to another mechanic, a Rookie should be able to improve on this problem, it needs hands on help. Hole in tank? Have this new mechanic check the fuel pressure regulator for leak into the vacuum hose.

WAS DRINKING A BOTTLE OF WATER JUST KNOCKED HELL OUT THE PIPE THAT COMES OUT OF THE AIR FILTER MUST HAVE KNOCKED TRASH OUT OR SOME THING WHAT EVER IT WORKED!! THANKS

probably trash in mass air flow sensor!

could have got some trash on the mass air flow sensor. need to take it out and clean with contact cleaner. parts store now carry cleaner for mass air sensor too.
