Is it the tail lights on or brake lights still on. Pull the brake pedal up or stoplight switch on the top of the pedal out of adjustment or you need a new switch. If brakes lights are showing in place of tail lights either a bad ground in tail light assemblies or if new bulbs were installed they are in backwards, 1157 bulbs.
