What's wrong with my auxiliary power outputs?

(2006 Pontiac Grand Prix)
in Gallatin, MO on August 22, 2013
The alternative power outlet inside the armrest/convenience area works perfectly, yet the APO below the cup holder does not work at all. It never got wet and was working properly until just recently. I noticed it stopped charging my phone one day. Is there a fuse that needs replaced, or is my wiring jacked up? Looked in a Haynes manual to see if I could find the answers, but I'm not that good with automotive repair. Any suggestions?

It is more them likely a blown fuse. You can check the fuse which is located in the glove box. Open the glove box and on the right side you will see a little cubby. pull on the top and it will come out. On the side of this piece you will see the fuse idetification. When you reinstall the cubby the bottom needs to be put in first. Good luck
