What's wrong when there is growling noise?

(2003 Kia Sedona)
in Beaverton, OR on October 15, 2012
The noise is when the car is cold. Goes away after 1 or 2 miles. Friend said it sounds like a bearing.

I have a similar problem in my 05' Sedona. It seems that it started to happen not long after the serpentine belt was changed. I read something on here that said the time belt tensioner can be the issue. I did have my belt changed, so wonder if the dealer will honor the replacement of it if that is the problem.
