What would cause my truck to just cut off while driving

(1999 Ford F-150)

I was driving my truck and it just stopped running i pulled over and turned the key it turned but would not crank. I checked the pump i heared it come on but still it seem like no gas is getting to engine. Please help

Since you're 'positive' the pump is working.... Got gas in tank??.. Now consider that a moment ... I have fixed a BUNCH of em that were actually out of gas!!

poss not enough fuel pressure. start by ck'ing that.should have 35 to 45 key on eng off

Thats what i checked this morning i had a friend to turn the key to on position then i located the fuel pressure calve a pressed in on it and the gas did not spurt out it bubbled. Im guessing fuel filter or pump or both

There is NO WAY it is out of gas !! NEVER seen that!! .......... Always been to busy laughing!!!!
