What would cause my tails light stayed on when the truck is off?

(2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500)

first i noticed that my tails light stayed on when my truck was off. i desconnected the battery and reconnnected than the light when off. after a while this trick didn't work anymore my tails light are always on even when my truck is off.

Could be your brake lights on. move brake pedal or disconnect wires to the switch on brake pedal

nope my tails lights thats the weird part......very strange i looked everywhere it seems nobody has any idea what it could be. i have to end up paying for electrical diagn..................
