What should the oil pressure read? Is there a normal?

(1995 Dodge Ram 1500)
in Henry, IL on December 05, 2012
when cold the gauge starts at about 40. As it gets warmer it drops to 30 or 35. Is this ok?

sounds very normal as oil warms up it gets thinner

Sounds normal to me... Manual says minimun oil pressure at idle could be low as 6 psi.
